What is EVA plastic? Properties and applications of EVA
What is EVA plastic?
Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) resin, belongs to the group of virgin plastics, is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate.
Characteristics of EVA:
- It has toughness and softness at low temperatures due to its active properties.
- It is light, transparent, durable, and non-toxic.
- As the EVA content increases, so does the flexibility, but as the melting point decreases, so does the stickiness.
- It is lighter, clearer, and non-toxic than rubber.
- Lightweight, economical, and excellent vibration absorption.
- It combines well with all types of rubber, such as PE, PP, and PVC, and is therefore mixed together to improve the impact inside and during processing.
Applications of EVA:
- EVA sheet processing products for everyday use.
- Because of its advantageous properties, EVA is increasingly being used in everyday products.
