A straw extrusion machine typically consists of 3 main components:
- Screw extruder: Feeds the material and extrudes the straw. Straws usually have a diameter (size) of 4-12mm, depending on the application.
- Cooling water tank: 3-4m long, used to cool the straw after extrusion. The tank length and cooling time depend on the size and material of the straw.
- Cutting unit: The straw is cut to the required length. The usual straw length is 13-21cm.
Materials: PP plastic, biodegradable PLA/PBAT plastic, etc.
Capacity: From 30kg/h and above, depending on customer requirements.
