I. PLASTIC RECYCLING PROCESS

PE/PP plastic recycling is a crucial process in promoting sustainability and reducing environmental impact. This guide outlines the step-by-step procedure involved in transforming post-consumer PE and PP plastics into valuable recycled materials.

Step 1: Sorting and Pre-processing:

Collected plastic waste undergoes a rigorous sorting process to remove contaminants such as debris, dirt, and other foreign materials.

Step 2: Optical Sorting:

The sorted plastic waste is then subjected to optical sorting to separate different types of plastics based on their composition, such as HDPE, PET, and others.

Step 3: Shredding:

Plastics of the same type are combined and shredded into smaller pieces for efficient processing.

Step 4: Washing:

The shredded plastic is thoroughly washed in hot water for approximately one hour to remove residual contaminants.

Step 5: Sanitization:

To ensure hygiene and safety, the washed plastic undergoes a sanitization process to eliminate any harmful microorganisms.

Step 6: Pelleting and Coloring:

The sanitized plastic is then processed into pellets, which can be further colored and blended with virgin resins to create new plastic products.

Designed for processing 200-300 kg/h of film and 400-500 kg/h of bottles.

Equipped with a 116 kW motor and a 60 kW heating system (actual consumption 70-80%).
